In 2019, I was lucky enough to travel around America with some close friends and a small backpack.

On our journey, one of the places on our bucket list was the iconic building ‘The White House’ in Washington.

Even today, I can still remember how the sight took my breath as I stood before it. The architecture of the building stands strong, powerful and proud.

I took to the canvas and recreated that memory, highlighting the landmark’s architectural and historical significance with clever play of colour and detail.
