About me
Hello, my name is Roxanne and I am a passionate landscape artist living in Hampshire here in the UK.
I was raised on the Isle of Wight with my family, whom are all extremely talented in their own creative endeavors. Growing up, my brothers and sisters and I would often spend our time making anything and everything crafty, and showing them off to our parents. My parents were also incredibly talented, and some of their works hung proudly in our home. We would learn a lot from one another, and their talents have always inspired me.
In 2015, I joined the Ambulance Service where I still work today. During those colder periods in the UK, I was able to take breaks from work and go travelling. This is when I really noticed how stunning the world around me was, and how I felt when I was there.
For me, there was no better feeling than bobbing on top of a gentle lake underneath a warm sunset.
My painting journey begun in 2021 during the height of the pandemic. Growing up with a passion for art and having being lucky enough to travel, I had an urge to paint landscapes, and what better time to start?
I visited a local art store to collect supplies and immediately got to work. I painted my first ever tree, and well… it was something for the bin! The very next day, I tried again following a Youtube tutorial. When I finished, I thought ‘wow’. I felt like a light had come on inside of me. I instantly felt happy and had this buzz to do more. From that day, I dedicated my life to teaching myself everything there is to know about mastering the skill of painting landscapes. I also created an online profile on social media including Youtube, Facebook and Instagram. The passion and love I have for painting only ever grows.
Fast forward to today, I continue to travel and explore our beautiful world, bringing inspiration back home and onto the canvas!
My goal is to create the most stunning paintings of the beautiful world we live in for you to treasure in your homes and to enjoy too.
